Bio
Good things come in small packages. Skyrocketing to grime scene prominence over the course of an eventful 2018 and 2019, Lost Souljah quickly proved herself as a force to be reckoned with.
The petite North London MC has captivated listeners with a slew of fiery live performances, earning herself innumerous reloads in clubs, at festivals and on the airwaves from some of the genre’s most in-demand DJs including Maximum, Slimzee, Rude Kid, Argue, Sir Spyro, Logan Sama, and Karnage.
Proudly showcasing and celebrating her Indo-Caribbean heritage, Lost Souljah often injects a healthy dose of patois into her ever-expanding musical repertoire, coupled with crystal clear diction and delivered with conviction to make for impressive results – which have gained her plaudits on stage and on live radio sets from grime legends and pioneers including D Double E, Skepta, JME and Jammer.
With critically acclaimed appearances at Glastonbury, Wireless Festival, Outlook Festival, Eskimo Dance and Grime Originals, as well as song collaborations with seasoned professionals and lyrical linchpins Bruza, Discarda, Saskilla and Fumin, Lost Souljah has fast established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in Grime.
Most recently, Lost Souljah featured on ‘Link Up’, alongside veteran MC Jammer, produced by ‘unruly price of electronica’ Dirty Freud, which appeared on his independently released EP poignantly titled, ‘All In This Together’.
Lost Souljah is currently working behind the scenes, developing her sound as she prepares to deliver a studio project with one clear mission - to quench the need of ‘music made for the people’.
